AFTERCARE

As a Hearing Direct Customer, you will receive free virtual consultations for the life of your product, this includes remote programming via an app on your smartphone where applicable. All programmable hearing aids will be programmed to your hearing test/audiogram, as provided by you, before dispatch. Once you have received your hearing aids, a follow-up call will be scheduled with an Audiologist to undertake any fine-tuning to the programming and provide support with how to use your new hearing aids.

Further follow-up calls will be scheduled as determined by you, the customer and your audiologist. In addition, you will be contacted every 6 months and invited to send your hearing aids to our in-house team for a free clean and check service (includes microphone check, replacement wax guard and dome or sleeve as required, moisture check & return Postage). This 6-month service remains free for the length of your hearing aid warranty.

If your hearing aid develops a fault, please contact our customer service please contact our customer service team on 0800 032 1301 or customerservices@hearingdirect.com to arrange any repairs under warranty, return postage is free from within the UK.

From all other countries you, the customer, are responsible for return postage costs back to our centre. We recommend using tracked and insured postage. Please note the warranty does not cover damage from improper handling or care, exposure to chemicals or undue stress. Damage caused by third parties or non-authorised service centres renders the warranty null and void. Loss is not covered by the warranty. Receiver wires are not covered under the manufacturer warranty as these are considered an accessory item that can be replaced.

If your hearing aid is out of warranty, Hearing Direct will inspect the device and either repair or replace it with a fully refurbished device for £250.00. Out-of-warranty repairs are guaranteed for a period of 6 months. (Please note this will only cover mechanical failure of the device for up to 4 years from the original purchase date). A clean and check service can be purchased outside of warranty for £49.99 by contacting our customer service team. Should your hearing levels change and you require complete re-programming of your hearing aids to a new hearing test/audiogram, this can be arranged for a £59.99 fee, please contact our customer service team to arrange.
