Hearing Aid Dry Boxes from £6.99

Keep your hearing aids dry and well cared for with our range of dry boxes. The gradual build-up of moisture and earwax can eventually stop your hearing aids from working correctly. It is therefore important to store them properly to give them the longest life span possible.

Types of Hearing Aid Dry Boxes

Drying Pots

Drying capsules that contain moisture absorbing silica crystals are placed in the drying pot. Hearing aids can be left in the pot up to 8 hours to be dried. The battery must be removed from the hearing aid before drying.

Electric Dry Boxes

Through gentle air circulation, a hearing aid dry box aids protects your hearing aid by preventing moisture, whilst having no impact on the material of the hearing heads.

Some electric dry boxes utilise a desiccant brick, which offers maximum drying effectiveness. The bricks last for two months on average. The Dry and Store Zephyr offers this technology. This comes with a cartridge and replacement cartridges that you can buy here. The Dry and Store Zephyr is also perfect for travelling.

Premium dry boxes also have the addition of a UV-C light which sterilises the hearing aid, eliminating 99.9% of germs. The Phonak D-Dry Box is an example of such a box.

Why should you use a dry box?

Moisture can occur in hearing aids due to a number of reasons, the main being - long exposure in humid environments, excess sweat and wearing hearing aids in the rain. It is hard to avoid some level of moisture entering the device.

We therefore recommend using a dry box to minimise the effect moisture will have on the hearing aids and reduce the chances of it causing damage.
