Starkey S Series iQ 11
Please note the S Series iQ has been superseded by the X Series.
In 2010, the S Series iQ was launched as the flagship range of hearing aids from Starkey. The iQ stands for the pioneering noise reduction technology that has since become standard in most Starkey hearing devices. The iQ 11 is the premier technology level within the range, followed by the iQ 9 and the iQ 7.
Sixteen sound processing channels – provides you with the ability to programme your hearing aid to your specific hearing requirements.
Feedback cancellation – with PureWave technology, unwanted feedback and whistling sounds are eliminated.
Voice iQ – moderates background noise, leaving you to hear speech more clearly.
Voice Indicators – warns you if your hearing aid status, such as running low on battery power.
Sweep Technology – allows you to alter memory or volume settings easily.
HydraShield – helps protect your hearing aid from perspiration, wax and humidity, which in turn prolongs the life of the device.
A choice of styles to choose from include:
· Behind the Ear – BTE
· Receiver in Canal – RIC
· Completely in Canal – CIC
· In the Canal – ITC
· In the Ear – ITE
· Invisible in Canal – IIC
The IIC is also known as the S Series iQ Otolens, which is a small device that sits hidden within the ear canal. If this concept appeals to you, it may be worth looking at the new range of Soundlens from Starkey.
The S Series iQ range has been superseded by the Starkey X Series, which benefits from a range of new features including wireless capability.
