- Second level of ReSound Live technology
- 17 channels
- WARP processing
- 3 directional options
Although this is the second level of technology for the Live platform, the full 17 channel Surround Sound processor is available. There are also a wide range of secondary features to offer a personalised fitting.
One of these useful tools within the ReSound portfolio is referred to as the Onboard Analyser. This is a form of so-called ‘data-logging’ which can be activated to allow the hearing aid fitter and wearer to work together to get the best performance out of the hearing aid, should find-tuning appointments be required. The programming software can display the types of sound environments where the hearing aid has been worn; the volume levels within those environments, and how long each programme has been used. An objective way of individualising the hearing aid set-up.
ReSound Live also saw the introduction of another upgrade to the Digital Feedback Suppression system used in all ReSound aids (DFS). This generation saw ‘Whistle Control’ included, which was geared at helping in situations where the environment of the hearing aid is changed very quickly – like when a phone is picked up – and to prevent any resultant whistling that may have happened in the past.
All the usual BTE, RIE and ITE models are available in ReSound Live 7
