Tubing Extractor For Hearing Aids

£11.99
Overview

This handy drill bit can be used to effectively remove earmould tubing from an earmould; particularly if the tubing has been glued in place. Insert the tube drill into the ear canal end of the earmould and twist it around a few times. Pull the tubing out from the other side.

Have a look at the Tubing Threader for an easy way to insert new earmould tubing.

For both tools in one, see the Tubing Extractor and Threader.

General information on earmould tubing: Aim to replace earmould tubing approximately every 6-9 months, or when the tube becomes discoloured and hard. This will help to maintain good sound quality and comfort. If the tube becomes too hard it can snap and get stuck inside the mould.
