Amplicomms PowerTel 92 Big Button Desk Phone

The Amplicomms brand offers a range of specialised phones for users with impaired hearing and sight. The models in the PowerTel range combine functionality, technology and design, and offer features such as compatibility with hearing aids, high reception volume and loud ringing tones.

This is a fantastic addition to our website; as the Amplicomms PowerTel 92 offers a substantial amount of additional amplification for incoming calls, and yet no power supply is required. Up to now, as soon as anything above 30dB amplification was on offer, the phone had to be plugged into the mains for power not always convenient in some of our customer's homes, if the phone line wasn't close to a plug socket. However, here we have a phone with 40dB amplification that only requires a phone line it couldn't be easier to set up. 40dB is sufficient to cover up to a severe hearing loss, but there is of course an easy-to-use volume control for complete adjustability.

The photo-button memories can be programmed with often-used numbers and if required, pictures of those people/places can be put under the display covers. Then, to make a call just press the picture and the phone calls the pre-programmed number.
