The Phonak Naida Q70
The Phonak Naida range; innovatively designed to maximise your hearing capability.
The Phonak Naida Q was introduced in 2013, providing pioneering hearing technology to the market place. The Q70 is the second most advanced model in the portfolio. The ‘Q’ represents Quest chip sound technology, which has enabled the Q70 to benefit from some very innovative Binaural VoiceStream features and is designed to replace the Naida S5 model.
So what can the Q70 offer you?
The Quest chip sound technology is the key factor that makes the Naida Q range stand out from the crowd. It means your hearing aids are able to interact and share information, providing you with a clearer, more succinct listening experience.
The Q70 comes in three differing styles with a choice of colours ranging from subtle skin tones to the bright and cheerful, depending upon what look you wish to obtain.
The three styles include:
· Naida Q-RIC - a slim line Receiver-in-Canal power hearing aid.
· Naida Q-SP - a Behind the Ear hearing aid with an attractive slender tube option.
· Naida Q-UP – a Behind the Ear hearing aid with additional power and a prolonged battery life.
What ever your preference, you will receive a water resistant, power hearing aid that has digital wireless capability, FM and Telecoil facilities.
Auto StereoZoom and UltraZoom – Binaural microphone applications to help clarify speech and reduce unwanted noise.
Acclimatisation Manager – your Q70 will take into account your environment, automatically regulating the amplification levels where necessary, to provide you with a clearer sound. Manual adjustments are also possible.
Sixteen sound frequency channels – giving you greater access to sound frequencies that may help combat your hearing loss.
WhistleBlock – helps to suppress annoying feedback.
SoundRecover – increases your ability to access high frequency sounds.
NoiseBlock – gets rid of annoying background noise.
SoundFlow – picks up on environmental change and adapts accordingly.
SoundRelax – loud noises are recognised and reduced to a comfortable level.
WindBlock – reduces the impact of the wind so you can hear more clearly.
Compatible Phonak wireless accessories for the Q70:
· ComPilot – when worn loosely around you, sound is streamed directly into your hearing aids.
· TV Link S – acts as both a television transmitter and charger for the ComPilot.
· MyPilot – a remote control with a display screen, activated by touch.
· PilotOne – a universal remote control.
The Naida Q70 falls within the second tier of high performance power hearing aids, behind the Naida Q90. It shares the same advanced sound processing technology and some of the Binaural VoiceStream features, offering you an effective solution to your everyday hearing needs. It is great for those seeking a powerful hearing aid with a decent technical specification alongside a comfortable fit.
