The Phonak Naida Q30
The Phonak Naida range; innovatively designed to maximise your hearing capability.
The Phonak Naida Q made its debut in 2013, producing a handful of new and inventive hearing aids endowed with Quest chip sound technology, otherwise referred to as ‘Q’. The Q30 is the fourth tier in this portfolio, namely the basic model. Although it offers fewer channels and features, it is not without significant technology and power, which could transform your hearing experience. It is designed to replace the Naida S1 model.
So, how does the Q30 compare?
Thanks to Quest chip sound technology, the Q30 remains at the forefront of technological advancement for its category. The Binaural VoiceStream feature means that the Q30 hearing aids can now interconnect and share information, enhancing hearing quality significantly.
There are three water resistant styles to choose from, all of which provide FM and Telecoil facilities. They come in a plethora of colours, ranging from subtle skin tones to bright and jaunty, so you have the opportunity to customise your hearing aid as you see fit.
· Naida Q-RIC – this is the Receiver-in-Canal hearing aid, with an appealing design.
· Naida Q-SP - a Behind the Ear hearing aid with the understated slim tube option available.
· Naida Q-UP – which is a larger Behind the Ear hearing aid, with added power and an enhanced battery life.
UltraZoom – is a binaural microphone application that can block unwanted background noise and encapsulate speech.
Acclimatisation Manager – the Q30 both manually and automatically adjusts amplification levels to fall in line with the local environment.
Eight channels – the Q30 offers a range of sound frequencies that can be programmed to meet your individual requirements.
WhistleBlock – frustrating feedback is filtered.
SoundRecover – makes it possible to hear high frequency sounds.
NoiseBlock – background noise is reduced, allowing you to concentrate on what is being said.
Phonak wireless accessories that are compatible with the Q30:
· ComPilot –when worn, sound can be streamed directly into your hearing aids.
· TV Link S – is both a charger for the ComPilot and a television transmitter.
· MyPilot – a one-touch remote control with a display screen.
· PilotOne – a remote control.
The Q30 currently takes fourth place in the Phonak power hearing aid range. Although basic compared to some of the more advanced models, it still offers some great technology and features that could transform your hearing experience.
