HD200...my rating is 4

The way forward:
My HD200 arrived a few days after I ordered on line along with batteries and a feed back sleeve.
The HD 200 fits quit well in my ear and with the sleeve on even better, with my hearing being
so poor in one ear it is helping me hear again.
I can only at this stage give it a score of 4 and hope that slight improvement will come making the
score 5.

I have been wearing my heaering aid for a week and can say that in general I am satisfied by it. It provides a very good quality of souund without disturbing noise. The great advantage of the hearing aid is the oppotunity to adjust the level of sound, so you can make all sounds softer in noisy environment. However, I have a small problem with it. I cannot fit it firmly in my hear, so I was near to lose it, when I played tennis with my friend two days ago, but thanks to whistle which hearing aid makes when it is out of the hear helped me to prevent the loss.I have oredered sleeve together with my hearing aid (an youcompany was so nice to send me 2 sleeves instead ordered one), but it doesn't significantly help me. It is a bit idsppointed me, because I lead a very busy and active lifedtyle. However, I admit that I simply need more time to get accustomed to it. So, my rating is 4-very good. and my advice for customer is definitely to buy it.
I also would like to note the exeptionally good service and fast shipping. My hearing aid had been delivered in 2 days after my order. It is a really very good work. Thanks a lot for it.

My husband has only 50% hearing and has worn a very expencive aid in the past.After 14 years it finaly stopped working. We could not aford another one as the price exceeded £2ooo. After about 6 months life become unbearable as my husband would prosume what I had said to him, always wrong! He would get anoyed with everyone because HE couldn't hear us. The TV would be up so high the whole street could hear it. He would speak so loudly as well.
Then I saw an add for Hearing direct.com. I was very sceptical as the price was so cheep and even £200 was a lot of money for us!
As there was a 30 day refund I ordered the HD200.
I had to send it back at first as the strenth had to be ajusted.(my husbands hearing was so low) I spoke to Joan, who was so helpful. It was if we had known her for years, she was so friendly and helpful.
The service was very quick.3 months on my marrage has been saved!
Fantastic! I love Hearing direct for your great service and very good value aids. I would recomend to anyone. x

Outstanding Value for Money

At first I was a bit weary about Hearing Direct.com, as I thought it would not be possible to buy hearing aid online for such a low price and for it to look like it does in the pictures. How wrong I was.
I initially ordered a brochure which arrived in a couple of days, however, it did not have an indication of the size of the HD200 (as pictures can be deceiving). So I decided to use the on line chat facility and was speaking to Gary, who said he could email me a picture with the measurements. Within minutes this was emailed to me.
I finally decided to order the HD 200 for my right year (I already have a custom made hearing aid for my left ear, which cost £1,200 and that was 10 years ago). I placed my order along with 1 pack of batteries and an Anti Feedback Sleeve, this was all very easy to do. To my surprise, my order arrived the very next day and when I opened it I could not believe how small the HD200 was (compared to my current hearing aid), it was easy to put the Anti Feedback Sleeve on, which made the HD200 sit firmly in my ear.
I have now had my hearing aid for over 2 weeks and I must say it has helped me a lot, I work in an open plan office, and lately it has become more difficult for me to hear some of the conversations being directed at me, but not anymore.
I am now looking at ordering another HD200 for my left ear to replace my existing custom made hearing aid.
I thought I could never afford to have another "in the ear" hearing aid, but how wrong I was. The product is outstanding value for money and the delivery was so quick.
I would definitely recommend you trying a hearing aid from here, you can't go wrong, not even with the 30 day money back guarantee.

Excellent service and product. It was packed beatifully and had a great instruction booklet. Unfortunately I will have to return it as it did not improve my hearing - it being less than 50% due to Meniere's disease.

I find the build quality fine, however adjusting the volume is very difficult.
The extraction device is too near the volume adjuster, also it would be better if the volume adjuster had a click sensor when turning it so you could remember that you need 3 or 4 clicks to set your required volume, rather than repeated adjustment with all the high pitched whining that goes along with turning the volume control.

I've found the sound quality absolutely excellent for my age related (72 year old) type of hearing loss. Due to the fact of the aids being 'one size for all',after trying them I found the 'foam' sleeve,or rubber type enable the fitting to be good enough for eliminating any feedback and for giving the superb sound in 98% of situations encountered.
The service and response to any questions or difficulties from Hearing Direct is fast,helpful, understanding and sympathetic to any individual issues. If the fit of the aids was even better,I would rate as 6 stars out of 5!!

This morning I have received my second HD200. My husband has been all over the house speaking to me as he would a normal hearing person and I understood everything. I can't tell you how happy I am to have finally been released from a confusing, frustrating, hard of hearing existence. Never again will I go to a high street specialist. Thank you.

I had to retire from a successful career early two years ago because I couldn't hear in a large open plan office, nor could I hear on the phone in spite of my almost £2,000 each hearing aids.
I ordered my HD200 last week, not believing that it would be that effective. It arrived but it was not loud enough. I phoned Joan who told me to send it back for more volume. I did this last Friday. On Monday morning it arrived back and I have been astounded by its size and quality of sound. I can even understand my grandchildren, which is a miracle in itself! My four top of the range hearing aids will now be relegated to the back of a drawer.
