Add extra volume to existing telephones in your home or office with this powerful amplifier.
Up to 30dB with the volume control slider plus an additional 10 dB available through a Boost button. Tone control for better listening comfort.
Uses 1 x 9V PP3 battery (not included): battery LED on front of the phone should illuminate every time you use the amplifier. The automatic voice detection helps to conserve battery power: if voice is detected from the earpiece or the microphone, it will turn on automatically (LED lit); during a silence more than 15secs it will also turn off automatically.
A simple connection also allows it to be easily taken with you when needed elsewhere.

The CLA40 cannot be used with one-piece telephones which have a keypad on the handset.
