I bought this phone on behalf of my 82 year old father. The person who I spoke to on the phone to help me decide the best model for his needs was excellent – well educated in the products and issues and extremely pleasant.
The phone arrived at my fathers as promised and he unpacked and set it up. I spoke with him afterwards and he was in a very pessimistic mood as he couldn’t get the answerphone to work and didn’t think the tone and receiver volume controls made much difference. I was thinking ‘oh dear, I’ve made a mistake’ However, I encouraged him to call your helpline and get someone to talk him through the issues given I felt the company was good on customer service……….2 hours later……My father rang me to say he had ‘never spoken to anyone so helpful and patient at a company before’ The gentlemen he spoke to was extremely determined to help him and explained so many things to him that he was blown away. In the end it turned out the instruction manual has an error in it for the on/off setting for the answerphone. With your excellent customer service my father has gone from pessimistic and a bit depressed and unable to hear well on his phone to being ‘over the moon’ at the response he got from your team and at now having a phone that he can hear people properly with. It has made a huge difference and I am delighted for his sake (and mine!)
My sister spoke with him and in her words from her email to me afterwards:
“I also spoke with Dad on Friday who is really delighted with his new phone. He sounded like a new man!”

I rate the dealing I have had with Hearing Direct as 5.
There website is straightforward, uncluttered and uncomplicated which makes it easy to look for what you want. The delivery was quick and no damage to the goods ordered. My father-in-law was very pleased with the amplified answer phone as it was uncomplicated but gave plenty of choices in setting it up. It's great that we no longer have to shout down the phone to get his attention when the answer phone is on.
