I would rate this item as 5 - excellent.
My husband can now hear the TV clearly when watching programmes which include american accents whilst I can listen at normal volume.
The only difficulty we encountered was that we initially could not get it to work when plugged in to our TV. I contacted your helpline and a very pleasant man advised us to get a scart adaptor because some TVs do not have their audio outputs enabled; he assured me that the system would work ok with our Sky Box. The advice that was omitted was that it needed to be a switchable scart adaptor that could be used for output. We did purchase a switchable adaptor, however it didn't work, luckily the cost of this was only £2.75. I had a final thought and found that there were output sockets on our Sky Box, this worked and we were relieved and delighted.
My suggestion is that for people such as ourselves who are not technically-minded, instructions could be clearer and perhaps encompass a section on what you need to do if you have Sky/Virgin, also brief your helpline that the appropriate sockets may be on the Sky Box.
