I was looking for either a replacement system or an addition to my doorbell / call system. I previously had a combination of two wired Chimes and two wireless ‘plug in’ Chimes, the latter with a Strobe Lights. The system had looked perfect on paper as I could have as many ‘plug in’ units as I liked ,one in every room. It also worked off a wired door bell push switch, with a sender. . In practice the strobe was so poor, if you were not looking at it you would not see it, also it was not loud enough. The system was useless to me as I am profoundly deaf..
I found on your Web-site an Amplicom Ring Flash 250 with a wireless acoustic activation unit which sounded O.K . Having made so many mistakes in the past, I sent an e-mail for more details. I received, almost by return, a detailed, very helpful answer from ‘ Joan’.
I ordered the next day and delivery was made within the five days promised. I also received a progress update before delivery.
The units were perfectly packed and exactly as described. Very loud with a very good flashing strobe light. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. This made setting up very easy. They are very technical products with many facilities but within a couple of hours this 87 year old DIY trier had a perfect system up and running .Four units, strategically placed around the bungalow with very little wiring. I now never miss knowing when the door bell is operated. As a further bonus, I have included an extra bell push which enables my wife, who is wheelchair bound, to call me. I’ve not yet joined in the telephone, that’s an added treat to come..
