I am pleased with it, just takes some getting used to so very different from the one i have been using, i can hear ok with it turned up high but havent got the clarity right yet am still persevering but it is good solid and clearly marked phone. i give it four out of five

For several years I have tried and discarded numerous types of amplified phones, all from nationally known manufacturers. I cannot tell you what a joy it is to once again engage in phone calls with family and friends. Borrowing an advert line from another product,the Power Tel 60 Plus does exactly what it says on the box!
As to rating the product I am in a quandary,the telephone is more than worthy of a 5+ but the instruction manual lets it down. It would seem that the composers of the manual,in keeping with with other technical equipment are more concerned with showing their prowess rather than simply explaining its operations. For a man in his seventies it took much longer that it should to become operational. I am still finding some functions,though many not needed at my level of use.
I thank you for the telephone and merely because of my confusion with the manual I have to drop my rating from 5 to 4.5.

The customer service from this company is - quite simply - outstanding. The phone was not exactly what I needed so excellent advice very promptly given by the audiologist. She advised me to change to a handheld model, which I did, with very good results. Credit for the returned model was deal with quickly. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Thank you for sending out my order for the PowerTel 60 Plus telephone. It arrived the next day in excellent condition. I was so pleased with the telephone that I promptly ordered another identical telephone for my mother.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Hearing Direct.com or PowerTel 60 Plus telephone for someone hard of hearing or elderly as it is simple to use.

Very good customer service and quick free delivery. My mum has been talking to her friends this morning for the first time in ages, she has the most powerful NHS digital hearing aids she can have but her hearing is so poor she really struggles to hear, so we are very pleased with the phone!

Over-all I was very impressed with Hearing Direct.
There website is very easy to navigate and finding the right product for your needs is a quick and easy procedure.
My mother was struggling to hear conversations on the phone - so we quickly found the amplicon Powertel 60 Plus this product was clearly displayed with a very descriptive write up of its abilities.
We found the pricing very completive compared to BT
’s similar phone - which had no where near the level of spec this unit has. Delivery was prompt - we did experience a problem with set up - but this was not the fault of Hearing Direct or the product instruction book. Just my over helpful teenage son who snapped off the locking lug on the telephone connector cable. We contacted Hearing Direct through there website and received a quick and helpful reply.
They sent out a replacement phone which arrived the next day.
This kind of service is hard to find these days - I would highly recommend there services to anybody.

Bought the ampovox phone for My 94 year old severly hard of hearing and also severely visually impaired aunt. We have set it up for her to answer or call using the speaker phone. So far so good and she is delighted. Without having to fiddle with her hearing aid adds to an improvement. So now she answers or makes calls easily Delighted thanks.

I ordered a telephone for the “hard of hearing” for my mother who lives in the UK – she is 96 years of age and very deaf. I am based in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. She received the item soon after I had placed an order and when I spoke to her for the first time, she said she was using the new phone and that she could hear me much better than previously. She is still getting used to it but is very pleased with it. It was getting very difficult for me to speak to her because of her deafness but the new phone is brilliant.
On a rating of 1 to 5 – I would say 5 (excellent!).

The delivery was well within the scheduled time frame and my mother(she's 89) is very pleased with it. She is very deaf but is able to hear callers much better now. As she also has very bad arthritis and poor eyesight the big buttons (which light up) are easy to see and use. The one touch emergency call button is a godsend
and the speakerphone function is great for longer calls to family. Excellent buy, excellent service. Thank you.

We bought this telephone for my dad for xmas so we have not yet tested it out. We ordered the phone & used the free delivery option, it arrived within 2 days, very impressive. lets hope the phone lives up to our expectations
