Bought this for my elderly father (93) as a replacement for his Council provided Red Button service, as they refused to add his care company to the list of emergency contacts. It's simple to set up and the emergency call button has been used and works well.
His only problem is ending the red button call, which requires him to press the button again for 5secs, he tends to press it for too long and start the whole dialing process off again. It would be better if there was a beep to show that the call had been ended. Other than that excellent and he much prefers it to the impersonal council system.

Bought this for my mother who is 93 and has Alzheimers. Easy to set up, looks good, and the wrist strap is very easy to wear.
Only three stars as there is no chance of amplification on the handset that I can make out, so she struggles to hear an ordinary phone conversation, and is too muddled to understand that she has to press a button to make the sound louder.
