Review by Robert Crawford (Posted on 22/02/2012)
ordered the loop with 100cm lead on 8 February 2012 online and paid for first class post. On 9 February, 2012 I received an email from your Joan McKechnie advising me that the loop was currently out of stock. I was given three options 1. Leave order till stock arrived. 2. Change order to the item with a shorter lead which was in stock or 3. Cancel order and get refund of payment. It was estimated that the item would be in stock in two weeks time. It was also pointed out that should I leave the order, the first class post payment would be refunded and that the item would still be sent first class when eventually in stock. I did a quick check but found that I could not purchase the loop any quicker anywhere else online. As I need the long lead I decided to leave the order as it was originally. I replied to this effect on 10 February and received an acknowledgement by email from Joan McKechnie which stated that the order had been placed on the back order list and my refund of first class postage had been processed. The stock was still expected in two weeks or so but my loop arrived on 15 February 2012. I emailed Joan McKechnie on that date and advised her and thanked her for excellent service. I have used the iLoop before and this order was to replace one that had been accidentally damaged and rendered inoperative so I was aware of the quality and capabilities of the goods beforehand and I am happy with the item sent. Being out of stock was unfortunate but I was happy with the service provided and the information and options given to me by Joan McKechnie and I still received the item within a week. I would rate the level of satisfaction at 5.
